Our mission at Natural GREEN Lawns is to provide our customers with a safer, natural, organic-based lawn treatment alternative to the big “spray-and-go” synthetic chemical companies.   

About Natural GREEN Lawns

Natural GREEN Lawns is based in and operates out of Waxhaw, NC 28173.

Before founding Natural GREEN Lawns, Founding Partner Gordon Howald was driven by a desire to create a safer lawn in his own backyards.  He wanted an outdoor living space he felt comfortable having his family and pets play on, without exposing them to an overabundance of synthetic chemicals and broadcast pesticides.  The rest, as they say, is history and Natural GREEN Lawns was born.

Natural GREEN Lawns was founded on a solid ethical foundation. We make customer satisfaction our top priority and ensure all customers are happy with their organic-based lawn.  Being honest, doing quality work, and communicating with our customers is instrumental to our core values.  It drives what we do everyday.  We are always available to our customers, and always willing to explain our process.  While on site, we are busy keeping our customers’ lawns the greenest, healthiest, and safest lawns they can be.

	Better Business Bureau (BBB): Natural GREEN Lawns is an accredited business registered with the Better Business Bureau. When you give us the privilege of improving your lawn, you can rest easy. Our organic lawn care company is dedicated to earning your trust everyday and ensuring your satisfaction.
	North Carolina Department of Agriculture (NCDA): We work very closely with the Department of Agriculture regarding the use of organic fertilizers and pesticides.
	North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association (NCNLA): Natural GREEN Lawns is a member of the NCNLA, an organization that focuses on developing the nursery and landscape industry in North Carolina.
	U.S. Composting Council (USCC): The USCC leads the coordination of research, standards development, and training efforts pertaining to composting. It plays a pivotal role in developing compost markets.
	Arbor Day Foundation: Natural GREEN Lawns is a member of the Arbor Day Foundation and is proud to be a regular contributor to tree-planting activities. The Arbor Day Foundation is the world’s largest organization focused on planting trees.
	The Nature Conservancy: We are contributing members of The Nature Conservancy. Their mission is to protect nature’s many diverse ecosystems.
	Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC): Natural GREEN Lawns is a contributing member of The Nature Conservancy. Their mission is to protect all forms of life on Earth as well as our planet’s ecosystems.
	National Audubon Society: We are ardent supporters of the National Audubon Society. Birds, even migratory ones, are affected by our lawn treatment decisions. We must protect them from the rampant overuse of synthetic lawn chemicals.
	Sierra Club: Natural GREEN Lawns is a proud contributing member of the Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is an organization dedicated to environmental awareness and conservation.
	World Wildlife Fund (WWF): As part of our commitment to the environment and wildlife preservation, we are an active member of the World Wildlife Fund whose mission is the conservation of nature and addressing threats to diversity of life.
